Kamenar and Associates is an Australian-based Petroleum Consulting Company owned and run by Alberto Kamenar. The company has provided Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering Services to the Coal Seam Methane (CSM) and conventional oil and gas industry since 2000. Alberto Kamenar is a petroleum engineer with 28 years of global experience in the oil and gas industry including extensive experience in Production Operations, Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering, Screening Studies and Field Developments. |
Alberto received a Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial), from the National University of Buenos Aires - Argentina. He is fluent in English, Italian and Spanish.
Alberto has worked in Australia, South America and South East Asia, and started his career with AMOCO as a Petroleum Engineer in Argentina. After migrating to Australia he joined CSR Petroleum as a Senior Engineer to then become the Engineering Supervisor for AGL Petroleum, the Engineering Manager at Petroz NL and QGC where he pioneered subsurface technology in CSM production from the Walloon Coal Measures.
Professional affiliations are the Society of Petroleum Engineers (Member since 1979), including past Chairman of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Queensland Section and past Queensland representative to the Australian and New Zealand Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Council.
Alliances
Kamenar and Associates work with a group of selected sub-contractors to ensure that every project is completed in a safe and cost effective way. Kamenar and Associates also has a Joint Venture Agreement with MBA Petroleum Consultants and ACS Pty Ltd, to provide an integrated consultancy service under CBM Global.
